The 4th annual Australian Screen Industry Network Awards welcomed nominees from far and wide this year to the Pacific Resort's Emerald Room. Guests travelled from Maryborough, the Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Adelaide, the Gold Coast and even Beijing to be there for the awards and to share in the activities.

The evening commenced with a screening of powerful short film 'Driven By Love' written and produced by Renee Eaves. Talented young up and coming singer/songwriter, 15 year old Brayden Lindsay opened and closed the event to great acclaim.

Tony Bonner was as always, the consummate professional in his role as MC for the night and we extend our sincere thanks to him for being with us and for his ongoing support of the network and the Queensland film industry.

Our thanks and extreme gratitude extend also to our special guest speakers and presenters, Chris Sun, Paul Day, Johnathon Stewart, Craig Ingham and Tony Bonner for their combined inspiration, encouragement, fast wit, support and sincerity. A special thank you to Paul Day for providing over $3500 worth of vouchers for Angel Studios services to all who purchased tickets and for being our official photographer on the night.

We received over 6000 votes across all categories from all over the world this year and once again, in the categories in which there was only one or two votes separating the winners from the runner's up, we awarded a Certificate of Highest Achievement.

Next year marks the 5th year of the awards and the 8th anniversary of the Australian Screen Industry Network. Our online membership base continues to grow and our Facebook group now boasts over 7000 members which shows that there is strength in numbers and all involved will benefit from the mutual aims and ambitions, shared interests and this strong community of like minded people getting out there and carving a career in the industry.
