Quickflix Launches Streaming of Content to Sony Xperia Smartphones & Tablets

Quickflix (ASX: QFX), Australia's leading movie streaming company, today announced the launch of its streaming service to Sony’s new flagship Xperia™ Z1 smartphone and the award-winning Xperia Z tablet both with full HD display.

Owners of Xperia devices can now subscribe to unlimited streaming from Quickflix’s selection of blockbuster movies and TV series including those from HBO for an affordable monthly fee or by pay per view for latest new releases like Oscar nominee Cate Blanchett’s Blue Jasmine, Rush, and About Time.

Quickflix has developed an app for the Xperia Z and Z1 in partnership with Sony and it is available free from the Google Play store. The new Xperia devices feature the ability to “throw” content towi-fi-enabled TVs through screen mirroring technology.
