Based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a fictionalised account of the life of the 16th American president, Abraham Lincoln. After witnessing his mother's death at the hands of a vampire, Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) swears to kill all vampires and their slave-owning helpers.
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and produced by Tim Burton the film also stars Martin Csokas and Aussie actress Robin McLeavy as Lincoln's mother. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be released in 3D in Australia on August 9.
