You’ll also get to act in a great new play by one of the world’s best ten minute playwrights while performing at one of our two great venues – the Newtown Theatre or the Parade Playhouse at NIDA. If you enjoyed the Sydney Fringe – then Short+Sweet is for you – it’s like a fringe festival all in one venue in the same night!

And the good news is there are literally hundreds of roles to be cast. In Short+Sweet Sydney 2011 we will present over 100 ten minute plays with over 400 roles so there’s a great chance you’ll get cast in a play.

Another very special reason to be involved in Short+Sweet Sydney 2011 – is it’s our tenth anniversary – and we’re planning lots of special events to make this Short+Sweet the best ever.

Auditions will be held in November at Newtown Theatre where you will be asked to present a one to two minute monologue of your own choosing.
