AFTRS has developed a new program of Industry Certificates to help you progress your career. Each course is a blend of practical skills and industry knowledge mapped to the roles and skills requirements that the screen and broadcast industry is looking for.
In the increasingly competitive landscape of fewer jobs and more applicants, these AFTRS courses are designed to give you the edge. All courses are run over evenings and weekends so you can continue to work as you study. A lot of the learning is hands-on and will give you outcomes that you can apply straight away.
Advance your career
Three Industry Certificates start in September: Production Management (TV Unscripted), Colour Grading, and In October is TV Assistant Editor and Camera Assisting starts in November. Payment plans are available to help you spread course costs.
Taught by screen and broadcast professionals
All these courses are taught by professionals who are recognised for their screen industry experience and they are validated by specially created Industry Panels. Employers and heads of departments have been consulted to help ensure that training is aligned with employment opportunities and are globally relevant.
