Annabelle Sheehan appointed ScreenWest Director Production Investment

ScreenWest is pleased to announce screen industry senior executive Annabelle Sheehan has been appointed as Director Production Investment.

Chief Executive Ian Booth said Ms Sheehan has more than 25 years experience in the Australian screen industry.

“Annabelle brings to ScreenWest a wealth of experience, knowledge and national and international industry contacts,” he said.

“Having someone of Annabelle’s calibre wanting to join ScreenWest is fantastic for the Western Australian screen industry.

“Under her guidance, we look forward to ScreenWest’s production investment and business development programs continuing to strategically support the WA industry.”

Biography
Annabelle Sheehan was the CEO and Senior Agent at RGM Artist Group for ten years. RGM represents Australia's leading artists in film, television, theatre and radio. Prior to joining RGM, Annabelle was Head of the Film and Television division at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) for six years. This followed on from her role as Curriculum Manager at AFTRS where she led the process for the move from an undergraduate to a post graduate program.

Her career began in post-production including senior positions on seventeen cinema features such as The Piano, The Portrait of a Lady, Dead Calm, Lorenzo’s Oil and Mad Max3.

Annabelle holds a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from New York University. Her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Graduate Diploma in Education were gained at the University of Technology Sydney. She has written extensively on the screen industry and has presented papers in Australia, the USA and China.

Over the past year Annabelle has been a senior executive with Hugh Marks’ Media Venture Partners.
