Applications for Ones to Watch 2015 now open

PRESS RELEASE

Screen Producers Australia is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2015 Ones To Watch program. Ones To Watch is a selective entry, mentor program for early-career producers from around Australia who create content for big and small screens.

Up to twenty participants are selected for the program and provided with one-on-one guidance by a leading screen industry mentor to develop their projects, prepare their pitches and increase their professional network in the lead up to and during the SCREEN FOREVER Conference.

Last year’s mentors included representatives from Princess Pictures, The Project Factory, Triptych Pictures, Essential Media and Entertainment, Goalpost Pictures and Matchbox Pictures.

The program provides participants with unparalleled and exclusive career opportunities, including the Screen Internship. The Screen Internship is a joint partnership initiative between Screen Producers Australia and Screen Australia that provides a Ones To Watch participant with $20,000 to work with a domestic or international screen production company.

“Now in its third year, Ones To Watch is establishing itself as a leading program for early-career producers by providing participants with the tools and resources required to succeed in the industry,” said Matthew Deaner, CEO, Screen Producers Australia. “Provided with these opportunities, we have seen participants excel professionally and advance their careers.”

Applications close 8 April 2015.
