ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards: finalists announced

The Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) Industry Excellence Awards finalists were announced today. The awards recognise excellence in the promotion of subscription television and the winners will be announced as part of the ASTRA Conference on Tuesday 29th March at the Sydney Exhibition & Convention Centre.

The ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards recognise individuals, channels and agencies creating ground breaking and innovative campaigns for the Australian subscription television industry. There are 11 ASTRA Industry Excellence Award categories, divided into three areas: Platform Marketing, Program and Channel Promotion and Technology. This year the awards include a new category, Best Marketing Campaign under $50,000, which recognises creative and innovative work executed within limited budgets.

The awards in each category are judged by a panel of senior subscription television executives and marketing specialists. The judges review each entry and assess its merits based on the strength of the campaign strategy, implementation, results and creativity.

CEO of ASTRA, Petra Buchanan said, “The finalists this year once again exemplify the exceptional talent within the subscription television industry. The calibre of digital and multi-platform campaigns represents the diverse audience and reach of subscription television in metro and regional markets.”

This year the following 39 finalists were shortlisted for the ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards.
