Atomos appoints Matt Ivey as president

Press release from Atomos

Atomos announce the appointment of Matt Ivey to the position of President of Atomos' US subsidiary. Matt will take responsibility for all North American operations, including logistics, sales and research and development projects. Ivey cites the innovative nature of Atomos and their ambitious goals for future development as his main reasons for joining the company.

"I have been working in the video industry all my adult life towards the opportunity of being in a position like this. Atomos are leading the way with their 'weapons of smart production' and have some fantastic ideas for future products. It's a great opportunity for me and I think I have a lot to offer the company going forward," said Matt.

Ivey joins Atomos from Grass Valley, where he was a Senior Product Manage for the Video Server product line, and brings to the company a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Based in Oregon, Ivey will be responsible for the business development of Atomos' field recording and conversion equipment to the production industry across the US, working alongside Channel Sales Manager Matthew Stoneking.

"Atomos are growing fast and Matt's industry experience, his detailed technical knowledge and his infectious enthusiasm made him the ideal candidate for the job." said Jeromy Young, CEO and Co-Founder of Atomos. "One of Matt's first tasks will be to set up Atomos Inc. in Portland, Oregon – it's the perfect location to tap into a pool of hardware and software design talent to accelerate future product development."
