Ausfilm and DFAT announce Shanghai mission

In partnership with the Australian Embassy Beijing and the Australian Consulate-General Shanghai, Ausfilm will be taking part in the Shanghai International Film Festival which runs June 14-17

SIFF Market

SIFF Market involves international producers, distribution companies, buyers, post-production, new media, film commission and location services, film financing and legal services. In 2013, there were 819 organizations and companies participating in the Film Market along with participation of 2,718 buyers from 106 countries and regions.

Ausfilm, Australian Embassy Beijing and Australian Consulate-General Shanghai will be hosting an Australian stand at SIFF Market 2014, June 14th to 16th 2014.

AUSTRALIA-CHINA FILM INDUSTRY FORUM: “Doing Business with Australia”

Learning from the foundations developed through the 2010 – 2013 Australia-China Film Industry Forums, this year Ausfilm, the Australian Embassy Beijing and Australian Consulate-General Shanghai in association with Austrade will host an industry summit showcasing business opportunities with Australian partners to the Chinese Industry on June 17th 2014 in Shanghai.

The summit will include a high level industry roundtable bringing together executives from both markets to discuss ways to develop tangible business opportunities, panel sessions to discuss production landscape and co-production in both territories and also a showcase of Australian 3D, animation and visual effects capabilities. The event will conclude with an industry networking cocktail function.

The 2014 Australia-China Industry Forum is an invitation only event including closed door and industry sessions and attendee capacity is strictly limited.
