Two young Australian actors are set to battle it out at the 37th Annual Young Artist Awards, or 'kiddie Oscars', after both were nomainted for Best Performance in a Feature Film.
Perth actress, Chanel Marriott, 20, has been nominated for Best Performance in a Feature Film for her portrayal of Alison in the controversial pro-life drama, Alison's Choice.
While fellow West Australian Olivia DeJonge has also recieved a nomination for her performance in M. Night Shyamalan's The Visit.
The Young Artist Awards are regarded as young Hollywood's answer to the Academy Awards, recognising children for their work within the entertainment industry.
Previous winners include Scarlett Johansson, Emma Watson, Elijah Wood, Chloe Grace Moretz, Dakota Fanning, Haley Joel Osment, Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith, Patrick Dempsey, and Christian Bale to name a small few.

This will be Chanel's fourth consecutive nomination – her first in the feature film category.
Last year she was nominated for her television performance in Hawaii Five-0.
In 2014 she won Best Performance in a Short Film for Penny Arcade and in 2013 was nominated in the same category for Bombay Beach.
While DeJonge, who was nominated for the AACTA Award for Best Young Actor in 2012, is currently working on two feature films: Safe Neighbourhood and Scare Campaign.
Competing against DeJonge Chanel for the best actress title are Abigail Breslin (Maggie), Elle Fanning (Trumbo), Odeya Rush (Goosebumps) and Liv Southard (Breaking Legs).
Chanel believes she is very much the underdog.
"Alison's Choice is an independent film produced with an indie-size budget," she said.
"I am thrilled to be nominated alongside such powerhouse actors, but I am definitely the Rocky Balboa of the category!” said Chanel.
Born and raised in Perth, Chanel commenced acting at the age of seven, swiftly moving to professional acting in Lockie Leonard, the Australian children's television series based on books by Tim Winton.
Chanel relocated to Los Angeles in July 2011 to pursue her acting career and has added over 30 projects to her resume, including lead and supporting roles in feature and short film projects, television, pilots, web series, commercials and stage shows.
Highlights include securing a supporting role on the iconic daytime soap Days Of Our Lives, guest starring on the remake of the popular 80s television series Hawaii Five-0, and being invited to read with Jennifer Aniston, Ed Helms and Jason Sudeikis for New Line Cinema feature film We're the Millers.
The 37th Annual Gala Young Artist Awards are being hosted at Studio City, California on Sunday 13 March 2016.
