Distribution businesses Beyond Home Entertainment and Magna Home Entertainment will combine forces from July 1.
The new business will continue to trade as Beyond Home Entertainment from its Brisbane-based headquarters in Queensland. Magna Home Entertainment and Beyond Home Entertainment were both previously operating under one parent company, Beyond International Limited.
"The purpose of the merged entity is to streamline operations and improve efficiencies and service levels to our customers," Beyond Home Entertainment general manager Phil Maddison wrote in an email to clients.
He also said the deal will strengthen Beyond’s position in the home entertainment market across kids, television, documentary and comedy content genres. All Beyond and Magna staff will be retained.
