Beyond reveals MIPCOM slate

Beyond Distribution is launching twelve new titles and 160 hours of returning series at the world's biggest market for entertainment content, MIPCOM. 

The varied slate, which spans children’s, factual, lifestyle, crime and documentary, originates from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Beyond head of acquisitions, Caitlin Meek-O’Connor, said the company was arriving at MIPCOM with a diverse slate that woudl appeal to buyers and audiences around the world. 

"Alongside our fantastic new titles, we have a huge roster of returning series, showing the continued strength of the Beyond catalogue,” she said. 

Lead titles at market include Chasing Monsters, an adrenaline-packed journey to seek out colossal and dangerous underwater creatures; Mountain Rescue, a thrilling ride with the helicopter rescue squad of the PGHM; an elite Alpine force trained for the world’s deadliest peaks; Natural Born Outlaws, the larger-than-life stories of some of history’s toughest and meanest outlaws; and The Dengineers, an amazing kid-focused transformation show making out-of-this-world dens for deserving children. 

Lifestyle additions include Love It or List It UK, property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer on a mission to help families who’ve fallen out of love with their home; Building La Dolce Vita With Debbie Travis, following Debbie Travis as she risks her life savings to buy and transform a 13th century medieval watchtower and farmhouse in Tuscany; Cooking For The Crown, a cooking journey to different countries to meet their royal families and learn what culinary delights are served; and Shaynna’s World of Design, an inspirational journey with interior designer Shaynna Blaze to the hottest design spots.

Rounding out the line up is Body Donors – Life After Death, the journeys of two people, in life and after death, who courageously decide to donate their bodies to medical science; Jack Vale: Offline, the world’s most successful Internet prankster teams up with his family to make pranking a family business; Breaking The Law: Bent Coppers, the incredible stories of some of the UK’s policemen and policewomen who have been jailed for breaking the law; and Blood + Thunder: The Sound of Alberts, the story of how Australia got its own unique brand of rock and roll.
