Press Release from Revelation Perth International Film Festival
Revel-8 is still looking for indie filmmakers resident in Australia ready to take up the challenge of working on real celluloid. This is a great festival for experienced and first-time Super 8 filmmakers alike – we provide the film-stock and processing, you provide the creativity!
Films must be shot in sequence on a single cartridge of Super 8 film lasting just three and a half minutes – drama, documentary, experimental and animations all encouraged.
All you have to do is shoot the film … Revel-8 will process it and the very talented music composition students at the WA Academy of Performing Arts will compose and record music soundtracks for the best 25 films.
Join us for the big screening night at the Astor Cinema on Friday, July 15 2011 as part of Perth's Revelation Perth International Film Festival. Awards to be presented on the night include the nano lab award for Best Super 8 Film plus awards for Best Music Soundtrack, Best Cinematography, Audience Choice and more!
