TROPFEST, the world’s largest short film festival, has selected boutique production company Captiv8 to produce the event and broadcast motion graphics for Movie Extra Tropfest and Trop Jr 2011.
Captiv8 will produce the motion graphics to accompany all elements of the event including the opening titles, finalist and winner announcements as well as graphics for the live broadcast on Subscription TV channel Movie Extra.
This year’s Tropfest signature item that must be included in each film is “key”. Captiv8 are working on a unique and interesting way of bringing this theme to life beyond the films by setting the scene and creating the overall feel of the festival through motion graphics.

Movie Extra Tropfest and Trop Jr 2011 will be held on Sunday 20 February at the Domain, Sydney, as well as live sites around Australia including Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Surfers Paradise and Perth.
