Cricket slasher film set for premiere

[press release from Media 42]

The Australian cricket-themed Satirical Slasher film I KNOW HOW MANY RUNS YOU SCORED LAST SUMMER is premiering Thursday March 26, at Dendy Cinema Newtown. The film is screening as part of A Night of Horror International Film Festival.

Upon hearing news of her film’s selection, Sydney-sider Stacey Edmonds exclaimed, "We’re stoked that ANOH is hosting the Aussie premiere of Runs. As it was a local production, it’s a great opportunity for all the hard working cast and crew to see it at last on the big screen".

"This will be the first time the completed film has been seen by anyone, and is the perfect curtain-raiser ahead of its June release," added Doug Turner, who co-directed and co-produced the film with Edmonds. "We can’t think of better timing for a cricket-themed satirical slasher, as both Aussie and Pommy cricket are a horror story at the moment!"

Now in its third year, A Night of Horror International Film Festival runs from March 26 to April 3 at the Dendy Cinema, Newtown. The fright-filled program is premiering 14 feature films, and over 40 shorts and horror-themed music videos.
