Daybreakers

Co- Directed and written by Australian twin brothers Michael and Peter Spierig (Undead), Daybreakers is set in a not too distant future where vampires have usurped humanity. It's 2019 and humans are on the brink of extinction. Vampires try to stockpile blood while they research a possible synthetic substitute.
A group of human resistance fighters armed with a possible cure for vampirism lead one final attempt to save humanity with the help of Edward, a vampire hematologist, who they enlist to their cause.
