Entertainment One acquires Conspiracy 365

Entertainment One (eOne) has acquired global sales and distribution rights to children's TV series Conspiracy 365.

eOne Television International will launch Conspiracy 365 at the upcoming MIPCOM Television market in Cannes, France, while eOne Hopscotch Entertainment will release it on DVD in Australia on December 6, following the final episode's pay-TV broadcast.

eOne Hopscotch Entertainment managing director, Jude Troy, said the company was thrilled to be representing the multi-platform action-thriller series. The $13 million Movie Network Channels series, produced by Linda Klejus' Circa Media, follows teenager Cal Ormond over one year as he is forced to go on the run and search for the truth behind a deadly family secret.

"We see Conspiracy 365 as an excellent fit and a fantastic addition to our range of successful TV shows from The Walking Dead through to Peppa Pig," Troy said in a statement.

Movie Network Channels general manager, content strategy and marketing, Peter Jenetsky, (who is also executive producer of the series) said international demand from fans of the novels would now be met with the TV series' impending release. The young adult fiction novels were written by Gabrielle Lord.
