It is with great sadness that we announce that Erin Lee Carr will not be attending NET-WORK-PLAY in 2015.
As many of you may already know, her father David Carr- the renowned and respected New York Times journalist and columnist- died suddenly in the Times newsroom last week. He was 58 years old.
The news shocked the world, with great outpourings of grief seen across the globe through fellow online media outlets and social media, showing how truly connected the world of media now is; a world that David Carr himself helped to shape and build.
He will be remembered as one of America's greatest journalist, a purveyor of the truth, and a loving father. Our hearts and thoughts are with Erin and her family at this difficult time.
