Big Picture is a joint funding initiative between Universal Pictures Content Group (UPCG) and Film Victoria to support Victorian producers and writers to develop feature documentary projects suitable for cinema release.

This program encourages applications for compelling stories with clearly articulated development goals and global appeal driven out of Australia by local creative teams. Victorian producers can have a non-Victorian writer attached, however non-Victorian producers must have a Victorian writer attached.

One project will be selected for development funding of up to $20,000, for Universal Pictures distribution/acquisition consideration and/or further development.
