Annaliese Zuzarte started this week as Screen Australia’s Media and Public Affairs Manager, taking over from Teri Calder who held the post for three and a half years.
After a sabbatical Calder is rejoining the agency on April 1 as acting Distribution Manager for six months, filling in for Anthony Grundy who is taking extended leave.
Zuzarte has lengthy experience as a publicist in the screen industry, including stints at NixCo, Tropfest, ABC and SBS.
As acting Distribution Manager Calder will work with distribution consultant Jonathan Chissick in managing Screen Australia’s P&A fund; liaise with the production investment team on marketing budgets; assist filmmakers, distributors and sales agents on the marketing of films in which the agency is an investor; and manage its presence at the Australian International Movie Convention.
