Sebastian Danta’s eight-minute animation Father (produced by Samantha Jennings, financed by Screen Australia) has won Best Animation at the 2008 ATOM Awards. Having premiered at Animafest Zagreb earlier this year and been selected for international competition in many festivals worldwide including Telluride Film Festival, Montréal World Film Festival, Anima Mundi, Melbourne International Film Festival and Leipzig Documentary & Animation Festival, this win continues a successful festival life for Sebastian’s first non-student film.
