Flame secures new content sales post-MIPCOM

Flame Distribution has celebrated 4 years in business with a raft of sales, establishing that their content is a hit with buyers.

Included in the recent flurry of sales are new titles Age of Robots and A Model Adventure along with the third series of Sir Tony Robinson’s Walking Through History.

Age of Robots is a 6 part series which shows the cutting edge developments in robotics around the world. It was produced for RAI Italy and has already been picked up by ZDF Germany, Studio U7 Russia as well as buyers in China, the UK and the Middle East.

HRT Croatia has included the Nat Geo girl-venture series A Model Adventure as part of a bundle of programs which also includes BBC series Grand Tours of the Scottish Islands.

Flame’s in-house productions have proven popular with Kitchen TV Russia. They have has acquired a package of titles including Lyndey Milan’s Taste of Australia, Lyndey & Herbie’s Movable Feast and Taste of Ireland and Under the Grill. Chinese buyers have also acquired Lyndey Milan series coming out of this market.

Additionally US channel Pivot has licensed the documentary Traceable which looks at a young fashion designers attempt to link consumers with the 3rd world communities manufacturing their clothes.
