Flickerfest road trip continues to Canberra, Adelaide, Alice Springs and more

Flickerfest continues its successful national touring fest, covering thousands of kilometres to bring the best short films to audiences all across the far flung reaches of the continent!
So far we have toured to 33 venues with 13 venues still to go across Australia between now and May. This week Flickerfest returns to Canberra, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Narrogin WA , Rosnay Canowindra NSW and McLaren Vale SA and visit Karratha WA for the first time.

Don’t miss our much loved collection of award winning International and Australian short film highlights handpicked from a record 2300 entries at a town near you!

Highlights of Best of Australia shorts include Yardbird winner of Best Australian Film at Flickerfest 2013, a masterful film directed by Michael Spiccia; Lois starring Academy®Award nominated acting legend Jacki Weaver and the quirky and highly crafted animation A Cautionary Tail starring the voices of David Wenham, Cate Blanchett and Barry Otto.

Best of International programme 1 features the quirky and magical Route 43 Miracle from Sweden and charming French/Canadian film Chef De Meute, officially selected at Cannes Film Festival and Curfew from the USA, newly crowned winner of Best Live Action Short at this years Academy®Awards.

Our Short Laughs programme features the funniest films from at home and overseas, including Status Update from Australia, Spanish comedy Life Vest Under Your Seat and the funny and topical social media film Friend Request Pending starring the Queen of stage and screen Judi Dench.
