Former Village Cinemas CEO joins Vista

Press release from Bullet PR

Vista Entertainment Solutions today announced the appointment of Kirk Senior, former CEO of Village Cinemas, to its Board of Directors as Executive Chairman.

Vista CEO, Murray Holdaway, says that Mr Senior’s appointment is a significant one for the company – which develops and supplies cinema management software worldwide – due to his experience as a highly successful senior executive in the global cinema industry.

“We are very pleased to have access to Kirk’s unparalleled international network, grown through experience in opening cinemas in more than 20 markets around the world, including Asia-Pacific, Europe, South America and the USA,” says Mr Holdaway.

“His vast knowledge and experience in business development and creating long term shareholder value will be vital for enhancing our performance in global markets and providing ongoing support for our ambitious aspirations for global growth.”

Mr Senior says that he is delighted to be able to serve on the Board, and is looking forward to helping Vista with it's next exciting phase and beyond.

“Vista has already made significant achievements in developing its business. It is ideally positioned for significant growth with it's leading entertainment software and excellent management team. I’m extremely enthusiastic about this opportunity to work with the Board and management in developing and implementing the Vista strategic vision.”

The appointment is a further important milestone in the development of Vista which earlier this year saw it buy out the 50 percent stake in the company previously held by SKYCITY.
