Fujifilm today announced that it is supporting the recently launched online information resource, The Image Forum (www.theimageforum.org).

Backed by many of the major players in the motion picture industry, this exciting project aims to offer impartial, balanced and reliable advice to anyone involved in the making of film and TV productions.

Fujifilm Australia General Manager Recording Media / Motion Picture Film Marc Van Agten said, “The Image Forum will help filmmakers make informed decisions about cameras, formats and post-production workflows. As an ongoing symposium comprising a broad cross section of the industry, The Image Forum is in a position to ensure that issues and innovations relevant to image quality are immediately brought to the fore.”

The website contains a host of useful information covering the whole production process. Sections include cameras, film, workflows, technical and 3D. Visitors to the site also have the opportunity to e-mail industry experts with questions, opinions and suggestions.

Marc Van Agten concluded, "The initiative has an impressive list of associates and all the information presented by The Image Forum will remain free of any corporate bias. We will supply simple facts to inform our visitors to help them make their own choices."

Visitors to The Image Forum can sign-up to receive free e-newsletters to help them keep up-to-date with the latest information relating to image quality.
