Get Ace goes to France

Galaxy Pop's animated comedy hit Get Ace continues strong international sales with France as the latest territory to pick up the award-winning series.

Get Ace will be broadcast on Turner Broadcasting's Boing Channel, Cartoon Network’s sister channel, in France from April 13 2015.

The series, produced by Galaxy Pop's Gian Christian and Dina McPherson for Network TEN's youth-focused digital channel ELEVEN, has recently been greenlit for a second season having topped the ratings with its first season broadcast. Along with Boing (France), the first series has been sold to ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), TVE (Spain), E Junior (UAE) and Zoom (Israel).

Late last year, Get Ace won first prize for Best Animation at the Australian Writers Guild Awards, Best Music for Children's Television at the Screen Music Awards and was most recently nominated for Best Children's Television Series at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards.

The series follows the adventures of hapless geek Ace McDougal who, after being accidentally fitted with a pair of hi-tech super-spy braces, finds himself thrown into a world of espionage and adventure.
