Go behind Carnival’s curtain

Press release from Carnival Studio

Boutique entertainment design firm Carnival Studio has unveiled a new corporate identity through a redesigned website and new blog, providing a platform to showcase both their latest work as well as provide insights into the creative process.

To unify the studio’s new brand, a photographic series titled Carnaval De Los Sueños (The Carnival of Dreams) was created to depict a vintage circus troupe; a collective of acrobats, dancers and mystics with entertainment in the blood – serving as a metaphor for the design studio who specialise in graphic design for film, entertainment and lifestyle clients.

Featuring Australian actress Maeve Dermody (Beautiful Kate, Griff the Invisible, Black Water), the images were shot by photographer Mark Rogers and styled by Ingrid Weir. Images from the shoot have also been featured in the Head On Photo Festival earlier this year, and are used throughout the re-launched Carnival Studio website and other marketing initiatives.

The new Carnival Studio website is supported by a blog entitled ‘Behind the Velvet Curtain’ which has been developed to showcase special projects and provide a behind-the-scenes commentary on work completed, as well as provide a platform for the studio to display miscellaneous creative (photography, sketches and unused designs).

Demi Hopkins, Creative Director said, “The Carnival Studio re-branding has been a collaboration between a number of film industry creatives and was designed to capture our personality and became an opportunity to create something unique between a group of passionate creatives. The project has taken over a year of pre-production, shooting and retouching, and we are so pleased with the results. We look forward to being able to share some more exciting projects through our website and blog very soon.”
