Hoyts to premiere film students’ feature

Participate Film Academy have just finished principal photography on the new Australian feature film Sweet Marshall.

After he is paroled from prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Marshall a former bank employee hatches a plan to seek retribution for those who’ve done him wrong in the past. Will they get to him first? Black and white justice will be served!

With the final stages of post-production, the young filmmakers are ready to face the challenge and prove to critics that 10 film students can successfully produce a 90 minute feature film, boasting a cast of hundreds! The Sweet Marshall world premiere on 15th April 2009 at HOYTS EQ will entertain 3000 paying guests. Previous films by the academy, Battle Therapy and Green Fire Envy had 3000 paying audiences combined, and qualified for the AFI L’Oreal Paris Awards 2008! Already outshining these films, Sweet Marshall is destined to take Australia by storm.

To think, that five months ago the fresh and eager students had not even operated a camera and now they are showcasing their achievement in all aspects of filmmaking on the big screen; proving the new methods of education by Participate Film Academy.

Following the premiere, the film will be screened nationally. Keep your eyes and ears open for the hottest new Australia film – Sweet Marshall out in April 2009.
