At the announcement of the nominees for the 2010 Inside Film Awards on Tuesday and subsequent media release, an error was made in crediting the scriptwriter for Mao’s Last Dancer, one of the nominees for the Jameson IF Award for Best Script.
While both Jan Sardi and Cunxin Li were named in the nomination, Jan Sardi was the sole script writer.
The Inside Film Awards acknowledge the work of Mr Sardi and apologise for any confusion caused by the error.
We would ask that you amend your records to reflect the correct credit for the script to Mao’s Last Dancer – Jan Sardi.
