The Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) has congratulated eight of its members that have been named as finalists in the 14th Annual Webby Awards. The Webby Awards honour excellence on the Internet on an international scale.

"That eight AIMIA member companies have been nominated demonstrates the depth of the Australian digital industry and its ability to compete on an international scale,” said Simon Goodrich, AIMIA Victoria President and Webby Awards Ambassador to Australia.

John Butterworth, AIMIA CEO praised the success of the nominees, “This is great news for our members. AIMIA members are not just leaders in our own market, but they’re now taking on the world in the digital industry. Every year, more and more Aussie digital companies are taking their products and services to the world and these nominations reflect the level of talent we have in this country.”

Tim O’Neill, Joint MD at digital agency Reactive said, “We’re delighted with our nomination and proud to have our client Crumpler recognised for being at the forefront of online retail.
