Love blooms in November

FremantleMedia Australia's Mary: The Making Of A Princess wil premiere on Network Ten on Sunday November 15 at 8.30pm.

From the streets of Sydney to the palaces of Denmark, Mary: The Making Of A Princess follows the lives of Tasmanian-born Mary Donaldson (Emma Hamilton) and Crown Prince Frederik André Henrik Christian of Denmark (Ryan O’Kane) as they embark on a fairy tale romance.

The telemovie takes a look behind the fairy tale and shows how an independent Tassie girl with professional ambitions handled the complications and choices associated with a love affair with a Prince.

Mary and Fred’s love is destined to endure geographical distance, as well as cultural and language barriers with Mary’s transformation to become Crown Princess Mary, the future Queen of Denmark.

Hamilton is  best known for her role as Anne Stanhope in The Tudors and stars in series four of Mr Selfridge.

O'Kane's credits include City Homicide, It’s a Date and Howzat! – Kerry Packer’s War.
