Madman celebrates MIFF madness

Madman are delighted to announce that more than twenty of their titles have been selected to screen at the Melbourne International Film Festival which opens July 25.

The festival will open with Mark Hartley’s much anticipated and wildly enjoyable NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD which opens in cinemas nationally on August 28th. Brian Trenchard Smith, the action specialist of Ozploitation and director, Mark Hartley are special guests of the festival.

Other Mad festival guests include UK director Olly Blackburn whose feature A Donkey Punch resonates spookily with several recent true life events ; Arta Dobroshi, the lead actress of Lorna’s Silence, the new film from the Dardenne brothers; and the legendary horror director, George A Romero with his Diary of the Dead.
