MOVIE EXTRA series 3 of Flickerfest On Extra now available online

Flickerfest is thrilled to have partnered again for its 3rd series with MOVIE EXTRA bringing another bunch of quirky Australian stories from our festival screens to your own screen wherever you may be.

After its successful broadcast on MOVIE EXTRA, Series 3 of Flickerfest On Extra is now available online, screening an exciting and entertaining selection of our best Australian short film festival highlights.

Each short film begins with an animated intro specially commissioned by MOVIE EXTRA, produced by Andrew Lord at Golden Duck productions, and animated by Brendan Cook and his creative team at Picture Drift Studios. Hilarious and quirky they truly set the scene for the fabulous collection of shorts that follow.

Highlights of Flickerfest On Extra series 3 includes two hilarious comedies Dik, winner of the Best comedy Award at Aspen and recently audience award at Palm Springs, written and directed by Christopher Stollery, When The Wind Changes winner of the Flickerfest /If Audience Award 2011, directed by Alethea Jones and written, produced and acted by Richard Davies and Miracle Fish 2010 Academy®Award nominee and Flickerfest Movie Extra Special Jury Prize winner, written and directed by Luke Doolan.

Don’t despair if you missed the series broadcast on MOVIE EXTRA, you can catch up online now with all the films and some special web only extras as we meet the filmmakers and get behind the scenes of their filmmaking journey.
