BEAR was co‐written by fellow Blue‐Tongue Films member, writer-director David Michôd (ANIMAL KINGDOM), with cinematography by Adam Arkapaw (ANIMAL KINGDOM).

Nash Edgerton commented, “To be honest when I got the call I thought someone was pranking me. It’s a huge honor that BEAR has been selected and I haven’t stopped smiling. I’ve always wanted to have a film play there and I’m just so thankful to everyone who pitched in to help get BEAR made. It’s very exciting and totally surreal that this time next month we’ll be premiering BEAR in competition at Cannes.”
