Network Ten Launches Spree TV
Network Ten today announced a major partnership with brand marketing and development company Brand Developers to launch a new channel, Spree TV.
The new, free-to-air Spree TV channel will launch on Network Ten’s datacasting service, Channel 15, on Tuesday, September 17. Spree TV will broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Network Ten Chief Executive Officer, Hamish McLennan, said: “We are delighted to have struck a partnership with Brand Developers, which includes the addition of the new Spree TV channel to our broadcast offering, as well as the brand and product extension opportunites we can take advantage of in the future.”
Brand Developers CEO, Paul Meier, said: “We are excited to partner with Network Ten, and to together launch Spree TV.”
Spree TV will provide Network Ten with a fully-produced datacasting channel.
Through its daily broadcasts, Spree TV will showcase the latest products and offers across home improvement, lifestyle, cooking, fitness and health products.
Network Ten’s Spree TV channel will comply with the content restrictions that apply to datacasting services. The new channel will not be included in the OzTAM ratings service.
