Claudia Karvan, Marta Dusseldorp, Justine Clark and Denise Roberts will help celebrate the achievements of Australian screen directors at this year’s ADG Awards, to be announced in Sydney on May 2.


The four actresses will be joined by directors Tony Krawitz (The Tall Man, Dead Europe) and Cate Shortland (Lore, Somersault) and host, comedian Claire Hooper, as Award presenters.

The 15 Award winners – across film, television, advertising, cross platform and music video – and will be announced on Friday May 2 at an Awards Ceremony and Black Tie Dinner at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.

Also to be announced at the ADG Awards is the 2014 recipient of the Finders Award. The ADG, in partnership with the Directors Guild of America Finders series, selects one Australian feature film, which is yet to secure US distribution and is an entry in the 2014 ADG Awards, to screen in Los Angeles and New York to key industry figures, including distributors.
