Prometheus, from acclaimed director Ridley Scott (Alien), is one of this year's highly-anticipated films. In this new viral clip which has just been released online, Guy Pearce plays Peter Weyland – the head of the corporation that sends out the Nostromo spaceship at the center of Prometheus. Weyland is speaking at the 2023 TED Conference.
The film, which goes back to Alien territory, also stars Shame's Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows) and Charlize Theron (Hancock). It follows a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
