The appointment was announced today by Screen Australia.

Kathleen Drumm has been selling and marketing NZ feature films since 2001, handling some of New Zealand’s most popular and acclaimed films including The World’s Fastest Indian, Out of the Blue, Eagle vs Shark, In My Father’s Den, Black Sheep and Rain.

She has developed international sales strategies for many other titles including Niki Caro’s upcoming feature, The Vintner’s Luck. Prior to her feature film role, Kathleen Drumm handled short film sales for the NZ Film Commission.

“Kathleen has been tireless in her support of NZ films and filmmakers. She has been dedicated to promoting all aspects of our industry and will be sorely missed,” said NZFC Chief Executive Graeme Mason.

Kathleen takes up her new position in Sydney on 1 September 2009.
