It was an action-packed 2010 for movie watchers, Australia’s leading DVD rental machine operator, Oovie, reveals. In an extensive review of 2010 DVD rentals, Oovie today announced their top 10 movies of 2010.
Phillip Noyce’s action packed Salt staring Angelina Jolie was the top DVD rental of 2010, closely followed by Christopher Nolan’s Inception and Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2, staring Robert Downey Jnr. Surprisingly, 6 of the top 10 films rented in 2010 were all action movies.

Oovie’s top 10 DVD’s for 2010 are:

Oovie is also aware of the devastation the Queensland floods are having on communities across the state. This Sunday the 16th of January, 20% of all revenue generated from Oovie's $2.99 DVD rentals will be donated to the Queensland flood relief fund. This will apply to all 248 Oovie machines operating in QLD, NSW, VIC, ACT and TAS.
