PrisonPals nominated for Streamy Awards in Los Angeles [VIDEO]

Aussie web series PrisonPals has been nominated for Best Comedy Series and Best International series at the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards in Los Angeles.

The series was filmed in Geelong, Victoria, and created by Jackson Juliani and Tim Stone. It follows a group of prisoners as they participate in a controversial online rehabilitation program, unintentionally enraging, engaging, and ultimately entertaining the general public. The series launched on October 30, 2012 and was accompanied by a live broadcast of prisoners direct from solitary confinement.

PrisonPals was developed with the assistance of the Courthouse Arts Geelong artist in residency program, Film Victoria, the City of Greater Geelong, ABC TV, and Pozible Crowd Funding.
