PumpTV launches in Perth

Press release from Tsuki

PumpTV, Australia’s first and only digital petrol station TV network continues its national roll out campaign with the launch of its sites in Perth. Select United Petroleum stations have been fitted with PumpTV screens, expanding the network’s reach to over two million consumers nationally.

The innovative out-of-home digital platform that engages ‘on-the-go’ audiences for up to four minutes is now available in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Along with content partners Channel 7 and Yahoo!7, PumpTV delivers news, sports, weather and lifestyle updates and advertising content to consumers at petrol stations through 19” sunlight readable LCD screens with full audio.

The roll out is part of PumpTV’s plan to extend its network to 4,800 screens across 400 petrol stations by 2012 – giving advertisers exposure to over 12 million highly engaged consumers per month whilst they fill their vehicles at the pump. Advertisers have the choice of 15sec or 30sec TVCs or animated “wraps” that are displayed on a split screen alongside the video content.

“PumpTV going national is a win-win: it means more opportunities for advertisers and more entertainment for consumers filling petrol at stations. As platform innovators in the outdoor space, we launched our product with conviction of its potential and ability to engage with audiences. We are very pleased with the progress made in expanding our networks in such a short time frame and the feedback we have been receiving.” says David Parker, CEO of PumpTV.
