Quail TV buys virtual GamePlanets for kids

Production company Quail Television has signed up for Australian rights to GamePlanets the real time virtual studio television game show for kids.

Created by The Baker & Brett Gamecompany bv for FoxTV in the Netherlands, and represented by Absolutely Independent Format Agency, GamePlanets has been produced in 5 countries with over 600 episodes created.

GamePlanets
is a fantasy packed real-time virtual studio television format for children 8 to 12 yrs old. In each episode two contestants fly to 7 or 8 of the 70 fantastic 3D worlds available.
On each planet they answer questions or play interactive games like Fast Food Fight, Tennis or Football. The finale is held in a huge domed room where contestants must make their way through the Laser Lane before they can take home their prizes.
Quail TV’s Greg Quail commented, “We like GamePlanets because it is entertaining, engaging and educational and it has a successful international track record.”
Quail Television, which has recently produced hit series ob-docs Saving Babies and Saving Kids, is expanding its slate to produce children’s television. The company is currently completing production of Find My Family for Australia’s Seven Network.
