Quickflix sends 10 millionth DVD

Press release from Quickflix

Quickflix Limited (ASX: QFX), Australia’s leading online movie rental and subscription company, has awarded one of its members a free Lifetime Membership for receiving their 10 millionth dispatched DVD.

Perth based subscriber Alison Heuer was today presented with a Lifetime Membership, the first the company has ever honoured, after renting Shrek Forever After -The Final Chapter for a family movie night.

Quickflix Founder and Executive Chairman Stephen Langsford said the Lifetime Membership was a great way to help Quickflix celebrate the 10 million milestone, particularly after the recent growth the business has seen.

"We've experienced some really strong growth during the past year. In the last quarter alone we increased our subscriber base by 23%.

“More and more people are turning to Quickflix for a great night in, so celebrating our next 10 millionth milestone may be closer than we think.”

Heuer became a member after being introduced to Quickflix by her friends who highlighted the benefits of the service.

"Friends had told me about Quickflix, and what I found great was that I could watch movies at my leisure in my own time, and there are no late fees," Heuer said.

"We can't always get to the movies, so it's good to be able to simply add DVD titles to my Queue online, and then watch what I want with the family," she added.
