Screen industry luminaries Rachel Ward, Bryan Brown, Susie Porter and Denise Roberts have ben announced as presenters at the 2013 ADG Awards.
Also attending will be many of Australia’s top directors from film, television, commercials and multi-platform.
In what is guaranteed to be a fun night, multi-talented actor, writer, director and producer Adam Zwar will host the Awards, which are being held at Hoyts Cinemas at the Entertainment Quarter on May 3, which a dinner to follow at Trackdown Studios.
“We’re thrilled that Rachel, Bryan, Susie and Denise will join us to help celebrate the achievement of Australian screen directors over the past year. Watch out for more exciting announcements to come as lock in more high profile presenters,” said ADG Executive Director Kingston Anderson.
“There’s tremendous industry goodwill towards this event as the word spreads about what a great night it is, with the requisite mix of respect and irreverence.”
For the first time, tickets will be available to the ceremony only as well as the traditional option of ceremony and dinner.

“The 2013 Awards, which were our 30th anniversary event, saw a huge surge in interest from both ADG members, the general public and the broader industry. As a result, we sold out and couldn’t accommodate the many people who wanted to attend,” said ADG Executive Director, Kingston Anderson.
“Everyone who managed to get a ticket had so much fun last year that we’re sure the number of people wanting to come this year will be even greater. By moving to Hoyts we are now able to sell 400 tickets to the ceremony. However, tickets to the dinner will still be much sought after as there are only 200 on offer so I urge anyone interested to get in fast.”
The Awards celebrate the outstanding work of Australian screen directors over the past year across 17 categories including film, television, multiplatform, music and advertising.
