Ready Steady Pitch sets ground rules

[press release from SPAA]

With less than a week to go before the start of the 2008 SPAA Conference, this is a reminder that 7 Ready Steady Pitch is now welcoming bookings from to all registered delegates.

This is a unique opportunity to privately pitch your project to a network executive in 5 minutes. This is a no mucking around arena of networking opportunity and face-to face time where you can share an idea and receive feedback on either your pitch or project. The objective of this event is to provide a non-competitive forum where producers/writers can pitch the freshest of ideas and receive feedback from industry professionals. There are no hoops, no prizes, no audience.
Pitchers will be required to have certain project info available as a minimum requirement. Your pitch will be 5 minutes with no more than 5 minutes feedback from the executives.

Bookings are on a first- come first-serve basis. Executives will be announced regularly and a maximum of 3 pre-bookings per delegate can be made online. If further slots become available on the day you may register for them at the time.

NOTE: Slots will become available as some of the delegates didn’t read the rules, and if slots are still available on the day they will be given on a first come first served basis.

The Session runs for 90 minutes from 3.15pm, on Thursday 13 November in the Sheraton Mirage Ballroom.

To book in before close of business, go to the 7 Ready Steady Pitch page on the SPAA Conference website.

After this date until 5pm on Monday 10 November you can book a slot, if available, by calling Jenny Lalor on 0438 843 743. After this you can register for any spots that are left on the day after 3pm.

All 7 Ready Steady Pitch registrants are asked to gather at the registration desk for a briefing at 2.45pm

WE RECOMMEND ALL PITCHERS SIT ON THE EXECS ROUNDTABLE PRIOR TO PITCHING TO THEM IF POSSIBLE
