Reappointment to the Australian Children’s Television Foundation

Arts Minister Simon Crean today announced the reappointment of Ms Feyi Akindoyeni as a Commonwealth representative on the Board of the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF).

“I am delighted that Ms Akindoyeni will continue in her role on the ACTF Board,” Mr Crean said. “Serving a second term provides the Board with continuity in strong Commonwealth representation, and her wealth of experience will maintain the Board’s communications, social and education marketing expertise.”

Ms Akindoyeni has more than 15 years experience as a market and social researcher and marketing strategist, across a range of sectors including information communications technology, infrastructure, health, environment and education and is considered one of the leading social marketing strategists in Australia.

The reappointment is for a three year term.

The ACTF is a non-profit company funded by the Australian Government and all state and territory governments. As the national children’s media production and policy hub, the ACTF performs a wide range of functions in children’s media. It is committed to providing Australian children with entertaining media made especially for them.
