The trailer for the long-delayed Red Dawn has finally been released and the similarities to Australian hit Tomorrow, When the War Began, are uncanny. Suspicions that Red Dawn, which has a similar plot about a group of young people fighting an invading army, made securing a US theatrical release for Tomorrow more difficult are certainly not lessened: the film looks slicker and the budget significantly bigger than Tomorrow's $27 million. Co-incidently, Red Dawn also stars two Australians: Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas.
