Ruzanna Kegeyan joins Arclight Films as executive VP of sales and acquisitions

Ruzanna Kegeyan has joined Arclight Films as executive vice president of sales and acquisitions. 

“The addition of Ruzanna to our team elevates the status of Arclight Films and increases our global outreach capabilities exponentially”, said Arclight's MD Gary Hamilton. 

“She brings an immense amount of knowledge and resources to the table including a powerful focus as well as connections in all major markets, from North America to China and beyond. We are delighted she is onboard.”

Kegeyan most recently served as President of Synchronicity Entertainment, the vanguard division of The Solution Entertainment Group. In addition to overseeing worldwide sales and acquisitions for the company, she handled sales for key territories for Solution.  

On the Synchronicity side, she sold and packaged such films as Cooties starring Elijah Wood. On the Solution side, she was responsible for sales of films such as Laggies, starring Kiera Knightley, Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell, How to Make Love Like an Englishman, starring Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, and Jessica Alba, and November Man, starring Brosnan and Olga Kurylenko.

Prior to joining Synchronicity and Solution, Kegeyan was EVP of Sales and Acquisitions at IM Global where she was acquired and sold horror phenomenon Paranormal Activity.  

Other titles she sold were Safe starring Jason Statham, A Single Man starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, Insidious starring Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne, Bullet to the Head starring Sylvester Stallone, as well as foreign language fare such as the acclaimed Elite Squad films directed by Jose Padilla (Narcos).

Kegeyan also served a five-year tenure as senior vice president of international distribution at Syndicate Films International/Yari Film Group. 

Before the Yari Film Group, Kegeyan was VP of international distribution at Splendid Pictures, overseeing day-to-day operations, where she was involved in the distribution of films such as Narc, directed by Joe Carnahan.

In 2001, Splendid Pictures acquired Cutting Edge Entertainment. Kegeyan joined CEE in 1998 as the company’s director of international distribution.
