SA indie thriller Roadman to premiere at Bradford Film Festival

Press release from Southern Light Media

Roadman, a low budget psychological thriller about a serial killer who falls in love with the girl next door, will have its world premiere at the highly
regarded Bradford International Film Festival this weekend.

Directed by first time director, Peter Leovic and produced by Stephen Prime, the film was shot on a show-string budget in and around Adelaide, South Australia.

Even with a very small cash budget the script attracted the talents of Travis McMahon (Kokoda, Cactus, Last Man Standing) to the lead role of tortured, anti hero Max Greif. Who according to Leovic turned up at their first face to face meeting in character and left him and his producer “too creeped-out not to give him the part.”

The film was also a finalist at DigiSPAA 2010 and the producers are seeking local distribution with an anticipated release date in late 2011. Roadman is a Roadman Pictures/Southern Light production.
